TRAINING
Basic shielded metal arc welding (smaw)
Two (2) Weeks - 80 hours TESTING


This is an intensive course for  Welding Beginners and Junior Welders who are engaged in plate welding. Here, the participant learn
s fundamental welding skills in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions for thin and thick materials. This course is recommended for those who wish to take the NMYC certification tests for Third Class Welder Classification. On completion of the course, the participant shall be able to perform welding.

Upgrading course

One (1) week - 40 hours

This course will assis
t participants desiring to master the fundamentals of welding and their required manipulative skills be devoted to welding Constructional steels, Stainless Steels, Cast Iron, Non-ferrous  Metals, Hard Facing and Build-Up.

Pipe welding course

Two (2) Weeks - 80 hours

The Objective of this course is to develop the manipulative skills required for  Shielded Metal Arc Pipe Welding Works conforming to ASME or APT standards for boiler and pressure vessels. Empahasis of the course shall be on carbon steel pipes welded in 2G, 5G, and 6G welding positions. The participants shall experience the use of low hydrogen electrodes.

Oxy-acetylene welding and cutting (oaw)
Two (2)) weeks - 80 hours


This course is an introductory program for welding beginners and junior welders. As differentiated from Shielded Metal Arc Welding, the program shall involve the applications, operation and maintenance of oxyacetylene welding. Cutting exercises are likewise covered. Cost and welding advantages of oxy-acytylene welding are also included.


Gas metal arc welding (gmaw)

Two (2) Weeks - 80 hours


In Gas Metal Arc Welding, the participants shall experience the use of semi-automatic welding. Cost studies relating the substantial savings derived from the use of the process are likewise discussed. Sessions on the use of shielding gases are covered with emphasis on proper gas combinations  required  for each range of metals.


Basic Gas tungsten arc welding (gtaw)

Two (2) weeks - 80 hours

Company personnel or individuals with basic knowledge of Shielded Metal Arc Welding can up-date their knowledge and practice of welding by training two (2) modern welding processes; namely Gas tun
gsten Arc Welding, participants shall be introduced to the Process Chararcteristics, the Advantages of using TIG when making Root Passes, Weld Qualities of Stainless Steel , Carbon Steel and Aluminum using TIG Process
